Description
- David Jackson explaining to his students a thangka of ནགས་ཀྱི་རིན་ཆེན། , which he had just identified as the work of མཁྱེན་བརྩེ་བ་དགེ་བསྙེན་རྣམ་པར་རྒྱལ་བ། (b. 1430s). This was during the conference 'Towards a History of 15th Century Tibet: Cultural Blossoming, Religious Fervour and Political Unrest', held at the Lumbini International Research Institute from 9-14 March 2015.
- A description of this thangka, which imitates the Indic style, was later published in the final RMA catalogue on Khyentse Chemo and his artistic style, i.e. Jackson & Fermer 2016 (pp. 11-13, fig. 1.14), The Indian Pandit Vanaratna with Lineage
