P1904: སྐྱོབ་པ་དཔལ་བཟང་པོ།

It needs further research whether this sKyob pa dpal bzang po was the eponymous student of ས་སྐྱ་པཎྜི་ཏ་ཀུན་དགའ་རྒྱལ་མཚན། (1182–1251). In the colophon of his translation of the Hevajrābhisamayatilaka, he identifies himself as a student of Byang chub rtse mo; see the bstan 'gyur dpe bsdur ma [1994-2009] (vol. 5, p. 1274.1-3): ལུང་རིགས་ཀྱི་དབང་ཕྱུག་སྐད་གཉིས་སྨྲ་བའི་གཙུག་གི་ནོར་བུ། །དཔལ་ལྡན་བྱང་ཆུབ་རྩེ་མོའི་བཀའ་དྲིན་ལས། བརྡའ་སྤྲོད་པའི་ཚུལ་ལ་བློའི་སྣང་བ་ཅུང་ཟད་ཐོབ་པ་ཤཱཀྱའི་བཙུན་པ་སྐྱོབ་པ་དཔལ་བཟང་པོ་[...]།. If sKyob pa dpal bzang po is the eponymous student of ས་སྐྱ་པཎྜི་ཏ་ཀུན་དགའ་རྒྱལ་མཚན། (1182–1251), his teacher Byang chub rtse mo must be distinguished from ལོ་ཆེན་བྱང་ཆུབ་རྩེ་མོ། (1303–1380).
