This text is based on འཕགས་པ་བློ་གྲོས་རྒྱལ་མཚན། (1235–1280)'s lam 'bras phyag mchod [ms], supplemented with ritual passages for the མཆོད་པ། and maṇḍala offering, as well as on གོང་དཀར་རྡོ་རྗེ་གདན་པ་ཀུན་དགའ་རྣམ་རྒྱལ། (1432–1496)'s lam 'bras phyag mchod kha skong [ms] and a further supplement by an unidentified Gongkar master Ⓢ. Its compilation might be based on the ལམ་འབྲས་ཕྱག་མཆོད་རྒྱས་པ། mentioned in gong dkar ba rnam thar I_A [2001] (p. 35). The text is the textual basis for rituals performed during the annual commemoration ceremony of བྲག་ཐོག་པ་བསོད་ནམས་བཟང་པོ། (late 14th cent. ?–1460/70s?) on the 8th day of the 3rd Tibetan month at གོང་དཀར་ཆོས་སྡེ། Ⓢfield (India_2015-04)
